Crime stoppers and the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service would like the public’s assistance in identifying robbery suspect.
On July 2, 2016 at around 7 p.m. a lone male entered the Esso Gas Bar located at 442 Bruce Street.
The male suspect approached the cash counter and asked the store clerk for money from the cash register.
The suspect pulled out a large kitchen knife and placed it on the counter at which point the clerk handed over money from the till.
The suspect exited out the front door and ran westbound into the bush.
He was described as being male wearing dark clothing, black bandana and a black ball cap.
The suspect was caught on video surveillance and the video can be viewed on the SSM and Algoma crime stoppers YouTube page.
