Crime Stoppers and the East Algoma Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are looking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspicious male and vehicle.

On several occasions between the months of January and February 2016 a male in a vehicle approached a school bus stop area in the town of Elliot Lake attempting to lure a young child into the vehicle by promising candy.

The male is described as being older, bald, and wearing a plaid shirt. The vehicle is described as a beige or tan crossover/van type vehicle with lights on the side view mirrors.

Parents are encouraged to be vigilant in educating their children about personal safety and strangers.
