Crime Stoppers and the East Algoma Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police need information from the public to help solve a robbery.

On Sunday, August 16, 2015 at approximately 4 a.m. a taxi driver attended at the corner of Canoe Lake Road and Village Road on the Mississauga First Nation to pick up a male that had called and requested a ride.

As the taxi driver arrived at that intersection he observed the silhouette figure of a person on the roadway. 

The male approached the taxi driver and brandished a weapon demanding money from the driver.

The male then fled on foot towards the bush with an undisclosed amount of cash and left of what appeared to be a four wheeler.

The male is described as 5’8” tall, medium build, dressed all in black with a black balaclava covering his face.

Help police solve this crime and receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
