BayToday.ca and Sudbury.com are two of Village Media’s community-based news sites. The position of Account Executive, Sales, has just opened up in these thriving community and news agencies.
“We are looking for experienced digital media account executives to join our expanding footprint across the North Bay and Sudbury regions,” explained a Village Media spokesperson. “The ideal candidates will be enthusiastic self-starters who are passionate about helping to connect businesses with our large local audiences.”
The account executive is entrusted to develop and maintain beneficial relationships with local businesses, agencies or individuals and work with them to reach their target audience through various advertising channels and services.
The account executive would be responsible for the following, among other tasks:
- Develop and manage revenue-producing relationships with clients and agencies.
- Prospect for new business.
- Analyze client marketing goals and develop needs-based solutions to achieve them.
- Manage the schedule of campaign deliverables.
Successful candidates will have a proven track record in sales, experience in media sales, account management or buying experience, and possess strong interpersonal skills.
Some travel may be necessary, therefore a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle and a good driving record are required.
