The Superior Staff it Inc. 1st Annual Golf Classic, The Cycle Without Age Project, is an exceptional opportunity to play a role in the fundraising efforts to launch a Cycling Without Age Chapter in Sault Ste. Marie.
Superior Staff it Inc.’s President/Founder Sheri-Ann Morin shared her motivation for introducing a Cycling Without Age Chapter to Sault Ste. Marie, “Years ago, I came across a video about Cycling Without Age (CWA), I loved the CWA principal, their mission, and vision and have since wanted to bring a CWA chapter to light here in Sault Ste. Marie. Seniors in our community deserve the right to the wind in their hair too!”
To launch the chapter, the purchase of a trishaw bike is needed to provide seniors with a new recreational opportunity within our community. All proceeds from the tournament will go towards the purchase of the bike which is the key to starting Cycling Without Age in Sault Ste. Marie.
Sheri-Ann Morin stated, “I am extremely excited about the golf tournament. It enables us to help spread the word, educate, and raise funds for the purchase of a Rickshaw or Trishaw bike. My hope is that this event is the first of many to come and I am happy to help bring something new and exciting to the lives of our vulnerable population.”
Superior Staff it Inc.’s First Annual Golf Classic will be held on Friday, July 7th, 2023, at Silver Creek Golf Course with a shotgun start at 1 pm. Registration for a team of four will include the tournament, dinner, live entertainment by Matthew James, a raffle, and prizes including a $10, 000 cash prize for the hole-in-one contest.
