Batchewana First Nation, in partnership with Alamos Gold, is inviting the community to an open house to learn about the completion of the Class Environmental Assessment for the 115 kV Merchant Transmission Line. This initiative supports the expansion of Alamos Gold’s Island District Gold Mine.

The event will provide an opportunity for attendees to engage with representatives from Batchewana First Nation, Alamos Gold, and their consulting teams to discuss the project and its regional impact.
The open house is free to attend with no sign up required, and refreshments will be provided.
