Horwath tests positive for COVID - Sault visit scrapped

The following statement was issued by Andrea Horwath's campaign. She was scheduled to be in Sault Ste. Marie this morning:

Like so many others over the last couple years, I tested positive for COVID-19 this morning. We’ve been doing our best to keep everyone safe, and I’ll keep doing that by staying in isolation.
 
Over the next few days, we were scheduled to go to Sault Ste. Marie, Thunder Bay, Kenora, Sandy Lake First Nation and North Bay — and I was really looking forward to it. We’ll have to make some adjustments, but I’ll continue to connect with people however I can.
 
Stay safe, and take care of each other, and I’ll see you all on Zoom.”
