TWENTY-FIVE CHARGES IN SEXUAL ASSAULTS
Goulais River, Ont.,

A thirty-eight-year old Sault Ste. Marie man has been charged with twenty-five criminal charges as a result of an ongoing investigation by the Sault Ste. Marie O.P.P. Crime Unit.

In early November 2003, police were made aware of an alleged sexual assault on a child in the Goulais River area. The investigation has revealed that six victims, both boys and girls ranging in age from seven to fourteen, were assaulted over a period of two years. The suspect did live in the Goulais River area at the time of the assaults

As a result of this investigation 38-year-old Robert Greco of Sault Ste. Marie faces ten counts of Sexual Assault. Eleven counts of Sexual Touching. One count of Threatening. One count of Exposure to a Person Under Fourteen and one count of Possession of Stolen Property.

Greco will appear in Sault Ste Marie bail court this afternoon.
