STUDDED TIRES MUST COME OFF
(Elliot Lake, Ontario) – The East Algoma OPP will be on the lookout for vehicle still driving around with studded tires. The Highway Traffic Act states that a vehicle equipped with studded tires can only operate on a highway from October 1 to the end of April.
The fine for having studded tires outside the legal time period can result in fines of up to $1,000.00.
