FEMALE CHARGED WITH ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON

(Aweres Twp., ON) On March 5, 2013 at approximately 12:50 am OPP were dispatched to a 911 call at a residence in the 100 block of Fisher Trailer Park, Aweres Township.
A female visitor at the residence entered into a physical altercation with a 66 year old male and allegedly hit him over the head with a beer bottle.
The male received first aid at the scene and did not attend hospital.
The female also allegedly assaulted another female resident by pushing her down onto a shelving unit.
Thirty year old Cassandra Woodcox of Fisher Trailer Park was arrested and charged with one count of Assault with a Weapon, one count of Assault and one count of Mischief under $5000.
The accused was held for bail court today.

Driver Charged with Break and Enter
(Havilland Twp., ON) OPP received a complaint of a vehicle in a snow bank near Havilland Shores Drive at approximately 6:30 pm on March 3, 2013.
OPP attended the area and the vehicle was already out of the snow bank.
Upon speaking with the driver several summer lawn tools were observed in the rear seat of the vehicle.
Further investigation by OPP revealed that the driver had in his possession several stolen items including a chainsaw, hedge trimmers, pruning shears, a home stereo system, a car stereo deck and a tool set.
The items had been stolen from two residences in the 1000 block of Havilland Shores Drive.
Twenty-one year old Donald Mark BUSSINEAU of Queen St. West Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario was arrested and charged with two counts of Break and Enter and two counts of Possession of Stolen Property.
The accused was released on a Promise to Appear for Provincial Court on April 15, 2013.
