BRUCE MINES – On Tuesday March 11, 2014 at approximately 5:30 p.m., East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Thessalon Detachment were advised of a collision involving a train and a tractor trailer. The collision occurred on 5th Concession Road, north of Bruce Mines in Plummer Additional Township.
There were wood products strewn on the roadway which was being hauled by the tractor trailer. The train did not derail and there were no injuries as a result of the collision.
