(Elliot Lake, Ont.) The East Algoma OPP has charged a former Elliot Lake resident with several charges after receiving a complaint from a local business.

The suspect, a past employee allegedly stole blank cheques during her employment with the business.

Charged with the following is Karen RUSH (47) from Parry Sound.

Fraud Under X9
Make Forged Document X9
Utter Forged Document X9
Theft Under X1

RUSH is scheduled to appear in court in Elliot Lake on April 8, 2008.
