Third Break and Enter to Local Club
Sault Ste Marie Detachment are investigating the third break and enter into the Fraternal Order of the Eagles on Trout Lake Road. Police were alerted to the break and enter at 3:40 a.m. 01 January 2008 when the building’s alarm was activated. Suspects cut a hole in the wall to gain entry to the building and a quantity of cash was taken.
The OPP are seeking assistance from the public in identifying suspects in these three occurrences. The other two break and enters occurred on the 21st of November and the 18th of December. The 21st of November was a break and enter with the same type of entry attempted. In all cases it is believed the suspects left the area very quickly on the snowmobile trail located near the club.
