NO PARKING IN THE SNOW PLOW TURN AROUNDS
Sault Ste Marie, Ont.,

Sault Ste Marie OPP is asking both travellers and local people to think twice before parking in areas that are designated for snow plow turn-around.

OPP are receiving reports on a regular basis of all types of vehicles that are parking in these areas. Some people are parking in the turn-around and then leaving for the bush area to fish or hunt all day.

This area is notorious for sudden and heavy snow falls. The snow plows have to use this area to safely get turned around in order to plow and sand the highways. On many occasions the plow drivers have to back onto the highway because of vehicles that are parked in these areas that are clearly signed as no parking.

Save yourself a parking ticket and a possible towed vehicle by making other arrangements for your outdoor enjoyment before you leave home.
