DRIVER CHARGED IN MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION

(Ley Twp., ON) – OPP responded to a motor vehicle collision on Havilland Shores Drive in Ley Township yesterday morning at 9:30 a.m.

A 2006 Honda car travelling southbound on Havilland Shores Drive rounded a curve in the roadway in the northbound lane and struck a 1997 Dodge van that was travelling northbound.

A passenger in the van, 37 year old Karen Kenoski of 59 Williams St. in Sault Ste. Marie was transported to Sault Area Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

56 year old Mary GRECO of 261 Marlette Drive in Goulais River was charged with Fail to Share Roadway under the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario.
