LOGGING TRUCK AND PICK UP TRUCK MEET “ACCIDENTLY”

There were no injuries yesterday in a collision between a logging truck and a pick -up truck on Ranger Lake Road.
At about 2:15 p.m. yesterday afternoon a pick up truck pulling a snow machine trailer was eastbound on Ranger Lake Road near Dam Creek. A loaded logging truck was headed westbound on the same roadway. Both vehicles met on the crest of a hill, on a curve.
The snow machine trailer slid sideways into the side of the logging truck. This caused the pick-up truck to loose control and go off the roadway into the snow bank. Both vehicles suffered moderate damaged but they did not require tow trucks.
No charges were laid in this investigation.
