OPP INVESTIGATE SUDDEN DEATH (WAWA, ON) – On Monday February 20, 2012 just after 3:00 pm, Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of a sudden death at an apartment on Ontario Street in Wawa where the body of a woman was located.

(WAWA, ON) – On Monday February 20, 2012 just after 3:00 pm, Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of a sudden death at an apartment on Ontario Street in Wawa where the body of a woman was located.

An autopsy has been scheduled for tomorrow February 22, 2012 at the Northeast Regional Forensic Pathology Unit in Sudbury.

OPP remain at the scene.

The investigation is continuing under the direction of Detective Inspector Peter Loree, OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB). 

TIRES SLASHED

(Elliot Lake, Ontario) – The East Algoma OPP is currently investigating a mischief to a vehicle parked near Gull Beak Lake on Pipeline Road.

Investigation revealed that sometime between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on February 20, 2012, unknown person(s) slashed two tires of a 1998 Grey Concord.

BREAK, ENTER AND THEFT ON ANGEL LAKE

(Elliot Lake, Ontario) – The OPP is currently investigating a break, enter and theft on Angel Lake. 

Investigation revealed that the owner of the ice shack returned to find the lock broken off and items missing.  Missing from the ice shack is an auger, jigs and a hitch.

The break, enter and theft may have occurred between February 19, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. and February 20, 2012 at 11:00 p.m.
