ARREST WARRANT EXECUTED (CHAPLEAU, ON) On Tuesday February 14th, 2012 Superior East OPP officers in Chapleau arrested 24-year-old Calvin LECUYER Jr.

ARREST WARRANT EXECUTED

(CHAPLEAU, ON) On Tuesday February 14th, 2012 Superior East OPP officers in Chapleau arrested 24-year-old Calvin LECUYER Jr. of Sultan, Ontario on an outstanding arrest warrant that resulted from a complaint of theft under $5,000.  The original complaint was received on January 25th, 2011. 

The accused stands charged with theft under $5,000 and 2 counts of breach of a probation order. 

He was transported to Timmins, Ontario for a bail hearing.
 

ARMED ROBBERY REPORTED

(Batchewana First Nation, ON) On February 14, 2012 at 7:40 pm Batchewana First Nation Police and OPP were dispatched to an armed robbery at Genes Variety Store located on Pontiac St.

A female attendant was working alone when a lone male entered the store with a handgun and demanded money and cigarettes.

The suspect stole an undisclosed amount of money from the till and then fled the scene.

The male is described as 5 ft 8 inches tall with short, brush cut blond hair.  He wore a grey mask that covered his face from the nose down, a black plaid hoodie jacket and black gloves.
