SPEEDING SNOW MACHINE DRIVER IS BACK
Heyden, Ont.,

Yesterday Sault Ste Marie OPP reported receiving complaints about speeding snow machines on Old Mill Bay Rd in Heyden. It appears that Zippy the driver is getting around the Heyden area on his machine.

The OPP have received a second call of speedsters on snow machines in the Heyden area. A business owner in the Trout Lake Road area reported that several snow machines were traveling through his parking lot at fantastic speeds. This business owner has been able to personally talk to some of the drivers and it appears that most of them realize the dangers involved in this practice and have slowed down in the parking lot.

The occupants of the area are concerned about vehicle's entering and leaving the store as well as people walking, and youngsters playing in the area.
