Hopefully the Word Is Out

Sault Ste Marie Detachment and Highway Safety Division officers conducted three RIDE checks on Tuesday. The officers checked 231 vehicles resulting in only 1 highway traffic act charge. The goal of the police is not have to arrest anyone for drinking and driving because people are obeying the law and considering fellow users of the highways safety along with their own by having a designated driver or taking a cab.
