Two females involved in off-road vehicle collision rollover

On July 27, 2017, shortly before 4 p.m., members of the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an off-road vehicle (ORV) collision rollover involving two females that were ejected from the ORV on X Line in Hilton Township. 

Both females sustained non-life threatening injuries and were attended to by Algoma District Paramedic Services.

As a result of the investigation, the driver Megan Mrozinski, 31 years of age from Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., was issued two provincial offences notices and charged with:

  • Fail to wear proper helmet, contrary to section 19(1) of the Off-Road Vehicle Act (ORVA); and with
  • Drive off-road vehicle - no insurance, contrary to section 15(1) of the ORVA.

Madison Wall, 27 years of age from Kincardin, Ont., was issued a provincial offence notice and charged with: fail to wear proper helmet, contrary to section 19(1) of the ORVA.
