SEATBELT CHECK NETS IMPAIRED DRIVER
Goulais River, Ont.,

while conducting one on the numerous seat belt checks over the Thanksgiving weekend, Sault Ste Marie OPP nabbed an impaired driver.

On Saturday night at about 11:30 p.m. officers were conducting a seatbelt check on Hwy 17 in Goulais River. A male driver approached the spot check and told to pull to the shoulder of the road. As a result of the driver's actions he was arrested and charged with Impaired Driving. An open bottle of liquor was also seized from the driver.

Thirty two year old Yeri Krajewsky, of Goulais River, was also charged under the Liquor Licence Act for have open liquor in the vehicle.

Sault Ste Marie OPP are investigating a break and enter on Havilland Shores Drive over the weekend.

Sometime over the past week a seasonal home was entered and several pieces of electronic equipment were stolen.
