BREAK AND ENTER INVESTIGATION (DUBREUILVILLE, ON) - On November 10, 2013 the Superior East Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Wawa Detachment were advised that the gas station in Dubreuilville had been broken into sometime overnight.

(DUBREUILVILLE, ON) - On November 10, 2013 the Superior East Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Wawa Detachment were advised that the gas station in Dubreuilville had been broken into sometime overnight.  Stolen from the business were a cash register and metal safe.  Both contained an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency and cheques payable to Dubreuil Forest Product.  An OPP Scenes of Crime officer attended and the processed the scene for evidence.  Anyone with any information is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers.

OPP LAY CHARGES FOR EXCESSIVE SPEED, WEAPONS

(SOUTH PORCUPINE) – A Timmins driver has been charged with a Street Racing offence contrary to the Highway Traffic Act as well as a Criminal Code charge for possessing a prohibited weapon.

On November 10th, an OPP officer had occasion to observe a 2005 Chrysler Sebring passenger vehicle allegedly travelling at a speed of 132 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone on Hwy 144 in Thornloe Twp. (south of Timmins).

During the course of investigative steps taken by the OPP officer, a prohibited weapon was located within the vehicle.

The weapon was seized as evidence by the OPP officer.

The driver, Jean OUELLETTE, 24, of Timmins, has been charged with:

- Possession of a Prohibited Weapon contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

- Street Racing contrary to the Highway Traffic Act

OUELLETTE is required to attend Provincial Court in Timmins to answer to the charges laid against him on separate dates in December.

Additionally, the vehicle has been impounded for 7 days and his driver’s licence has been suspended for 7 days.

INVESTIGATION RESULTS IN $170,000 WORTH OF DRUGS SEIZED

(TORONTO, ON.)  The Ontario Provincial Police Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau (OCEB), Sudbury Unit supported by the OPP Provincial Operations Intelligence Bureau, OPP Asset Forfeiture Unit and the Toronto Police Service have arrested and charged a Greater Toronto area resident with several drug related offences.
 
The investigation focused on an individual from the Greater Toronto area who was supplying illicit drugs to the Northern communities of Moosonee, Moose Factory, Chapleau, and Brunswick House First Nations. 
 
During the course of this investigation an active methamphetamine laboratory was identified in Mississauga and with the assistance of the Peel Regional Police Service was dismantled.
 
Methamphetamine, cocaine, oxycodone, fentanyl and marihuana was seized along with $20,000 cash.   The street value of the drugs seized is $170,000.

Amir ABDELRAHAM, age 49, of Toronto
Conspiracy to commit an indictable offence – 5 Counts
Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purposes of Trafficking -2 Counts
Production of a Controlled Substance – 1 Count
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – 1 Count
Theft Under $5,000 – 9 Counts
False Statement in Relation to a Passport - 1 Count
