STOLEN BOAT MOTOR Heyden, Ont., On Saturday 18 May 2002 at about 12:00 noon, Sault Ste Marie OPP were called to a seasonal home on Heyden Lake after the owner discovered that his boat engine was missing.

On Saturday 18 May 2002 at about 12:00 noon, Sault Ste Marie OPP were called to a seasonal home on Heyden Lake after the owner discovered that his boat engine was missing.

The owner of the boat went out enjoy his long weekend of fishing when he noticed that the engine was gone. He determined that sometime in the past week culprits had stolen his six horse power outboard motor from his boat.

Sault Ste Marie OPP are investigating two incidents of smashed car windows over the weekend. The first incident happened in Goulais Mission sometime during the daylight hours of Saturday May 18 2002. The owner of a mini van returned to his van to find the windshield and two side windows smashed out.

The second incident was discover on Sunday morning. On Saturday afternoon, the owner of that vehicle left his car parked at a landing near Trout Lake in Heyden. On Sunday morning he arrived back at his car and discovered that
