A family dispute early this morning will result in a bail court appearance for a 17 year old Batchawana First Nation youth.

At 4:00 a.m. this morning the Batchawana First Nation Police and the OPP were called to a home on Nebenaigoching Street. The teen had smashed the front window of the home and the parent wanted him removed from the property. Upon police arrival the youth fled the scene and a foot chase pursued. The youth was eventually caught near Trunk Road and taken into custody. He will appear in bail court later this morning to face numerous charges.


TWO MOOSE COLLISIONS

Pancake Bay, Ont.,

Two separate moose collisions last night resulted in two less moose that will be around for this years hunting season.

The two collisions resulted in both moose being killed but no one in the two vehicles suffered any injuries. The collisions happened at 10:30 pm. and 2:30 a.m. last night in the Pancake Bay area north of Sault Ste Marie.
