TIRES SLASHED
ELLIOT LAKE, ON) The OPP is currently investigation a mischief to two vehicles on Mississauga Avenue in Elliot Lake.
June 28th, 2013 at approximately 11:30 police attended the parking lot of 149 Mississauga Avenue regarding damage to two vehicles. On scene police learned that sometime during the night tires on both vehicles had been slashed. One vehicle had also been keyed.
Police are continuing their investigation.
BREAK ENTER AND THEFT
(ELLIOT LAKE, ON) Police received a call on June 29th, 2013 regarding a possible of a break enter and theft on Frobel Drive in Elliot Lake..
Through investigation police learned that between June 26th, 2013 and June 29th, 2013 unknown person(s) entered the residence and took several items.
The following items are some items reported missing at this time;
- 32 inch Toshiba TV
- Samsung Note ( Cell phone)
- Sony Erickson Cell phones
- Samsung Infuse 4G
- Media players
Approximate value of items taken is $6,000.00.
PHONE CALLS NET CHARGES FOR LOCAL MALE
(ELLIOT LAKE, ON) On June 30th, 2013 police attended Spruce Avenue regarding unwanted phone calls. Police spoke with both parties.
A short time later, police received another call to attend Spruce Avenue regarding a possible threatening voice message. Officers attended and arrested one male.
Charged with the following is Robert FALCONER (33) of Elliot Lake.
- Harassing Telephone Calls
- Utter Threat to Cause Death or Bodily Harm
The accused is scheduled to appear in Elliot Lake court on August 6th, 2013.
DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE
(ELLIOT LAKE, ON) June 30th, 2013 at approximately 1:59 a.m., while on general patrol an OPP officer conducted a traffic stop on Hillside Drive South.
Through investigation the driver was charged.
Charged with the following is Matthieu Rene LALANDE (26) of Elliot Lake.
- Impaired Operation
- Exceed 80
The accused is scheduled to appear in Elliot Lake court on August 6, 2013.

(ELLIOT LAKE, ON) June 29th, 2013 at approximately 8:05 p.m. police were conducting a RIDE Highway 108 when a vehicle refused to stop. The vehicle was stopped and the driver was charged.
Charged with the following is Michael SCOTT (46) of Jefferson County, Kentucky USA.
- Impaired Operation
- Exceed 80
Also charged under the Highway Traffic Act with the following:
- Disobey officer directing traffic
- Disobey Stop Sign
The accused is scheduled to appear in Elliot Lake court on August 6th, 2013.
