Argument Leads to Assault

(Mississauga First Nation) At approximately 8:00 p.m. an argument broke out between a homeowner and an occupant. The occupant became upset with the owner and began punching and kicking him knocking him to the ground before leaving.

The culprit left the house and went on a journey leading him into Blind River.
Police, acting on intuition, attended at a residence on Solomon St. where the assailant showed up. A foot chase began and the suspect was taken into custody.

Police have charged 31-year-old Brian Marion with assault causing bodily harm, uttering threats, resisting arrest and breach of probation. He was taken to Sault Ste. Marie where he will be held in custody pending a bail hearing later this date.
