PARKING LOT HIT AND RUN COLLISON

Goulais River, Ont.,

Sault Ste Marie OPP were called to Captain Tilley Park in Goulias River last night for a hit and run collision.

Last night at about 9:30 a.m. a red pick up truck was leaving the parking lot of Captain Tilley park when it backed into another vehicle and then left the scene. The front fender and bumper of the second vehicle was damaged. No one was injured in the crash.

BREAK AND ENTER TO RESIDENCE

(Thessalon First Nation, Ontario) On Sunday February 11, 2007 the East Algoma – Thessalon OPP were contacted regarding a break and enter that occurred on Wabigwan Road, Thessalon First Nation, Ontario.

The break and enter occurred sometime between Saturday February 10, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. and Sunday February 11, 2007 at approximately 8:30 p.m.

Items taken in the break and enter include:

A stainless steel Fossil wrist watch
A Disturbed Compact Disc and
3 Play station video games

The value of the items stolen is approximately $300.
