POLICE MAKE AN ARREST SOLVING ARMED ROBBERY

(Elliot Lake, Ontario) As a result of investigation, members of the East Algoma OPP Crime Unit in conjunction with Uniform Members of the Elliot Lake Detachment have arrested an Elliot Lake man for an Armed Robbery, which occurred at the Elliot Lake Pharmachoice Drug Store on Sunday, September 20th 2009.

Charged with:
1) Armed Robbery
2) Disguise With Intent to Commit an Offence
3) Weapons Dangerous to the Public Peace
4) Utter Threats
5) Possession of Stolen Property Exceeding $5000.00

Is Shane Normand BERTRAND, age 24 years of Elliot Lake. Bertrand is presently in custody awaiting a Bail Hearing to be held in Sault Ste. Marie.
