JUST A REMINDER…BOATER’S AWARENESS NIGHT

Sault Ste Marie OPP would like to remind everyone that tomorrow night we will be holding our BOATER’S AWARENESS NIGHT at the Holiday Inn downtown Sault Ste Marie,

Various enforcement agencies from both the United States and Canada will be on hand to answer your questions on the different boating rules and regulations as they vary from country to country.

There have been many significant changes, on both side of our border, over the past few years. The level of enforcement and the requirements of recreational boaters have steadily increased.

On Friday 07 May 2004 from 7:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Marine Patrol officers from the Ontario Provincial Police and other enforcement agencies will be available at the Holiday Inn to answer your questions, concerns and listen to your suggestions about recreational boating.

Door prizes as well as handout information will be available for everyone. Admission is free so drop by the Holiday Inn tomorrow evening and find out what you need to know to keep this boating season “ticket free”
