BREAK IN TO DROP IN CENTRE (WAWA, ON) The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Wawa Detachment are currently investigating a break and enter to IRIS Place on Broadway Avenue that took place sometime overnight on March 4.

BREAK IN TO DROP IN CENTRE

(WAWA, ON)  The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Wawa Detachment are currently investigating a break and enter to IRIS Place on Broadway Avenue that took place sometime overnight on March 4.   The centre was entered via a broken window sometime after 4:00 pm.  Groceries and other consumable goods were stolen valued at approximately $300.  OPP continue to investigate this matter.

OBSTRUCT POLICE X2 AND MORE

(Thessalon, Ontario) –   On March 6, 2013 the East Algoma OPP received a call regarding a possible missing youth that may be in the area of Richard Landing on St Joseph Island.

Police attended the residence and learned through investigation that the youth was at the residence. While investigating police allegedly received false information from a male at the residence.  The male was arrested and charged.

Charged with the following is Cody Terrence ROUSSEAU (18) of Richard Landing.

  •             Obstruct/Resist Peace Officer       (X2)
  •             Utter Threat to Cause Death or Bodily Harm
  •             Possession of Cannabis

The accused remains in custody awaiting a Bail Hearing in Sault Ste Marie.

The missing youth was located and returned to Sault Ste Marie.
