Mail Box Vandal

Some mischief-maker(s) thought it great sport to vex a Kirby Road resident in the Goulais River area. The mailbox in front of the residence had suffered an arduous winter and was barely hanging on by a nail. Its physical shortcomings did not, however, deter it from proudly receiving delivery of correspondence from both wanted and unwanted sources. Someone overlooked the service it provided and viewed it as easy prey, to be knocked from its perch and left, unceremoniously, discarded in the melting snow. In another moment of brilliance the perpetrator removed the ‘911’ civic number post, obviously in a ploy to keep us from finding the location of the crime.

This was probably not the work of a senior member of the crime establishment, but rather the work of someone on the fringe. Rest assured it won’t belong before we locate this ne’er-do-wells ‘ 911’ civic number and pay a visit in order to get better acquainted.
