OPP REQUESTING ASSISTANCE OF THE PUBLIC
(Elliot Lake, Ontario) – The OPP is currently investigating an incident involving a vehicle on March 2nd, 2013. At approximately 9:00 a.m. on the mentioned date the victim was walking down Spruce Avenue in Elliot Lake when she was struck by a light blue pick-up truck.
Police learned that the victim was walking in the same direction of traffic wearing earbuds and listening to music. At that time she was struck by the pickup truck. The driver of the vehicle stopped, spoke to the victim and then left the area. The victim suffered minor injuries.
Police would like to talk to the driver or anybody that may have witnessed the incident.
Investigation continuing.
