Motorized snow vehicle fatality
Last night at approximately 11:30 p.m., Sault Ste. Marie OPP members responded to a motorized snow vehicle fatality involving a 54-year-old male on Irwin Island Road in Havilland Township.
Goulais Fire and Rescue along with Sault Ste. Marie Ambulance Service attended the scene but were unable to resuscitate the male driver.
The investigation is continuing at this time with the assistance of technical traffic investigators.
A post mortem has been scheduled for today.
The identity of the deceased will be released pending notification of next-of-kin.
