NO INJURIES IN SNOW MACHINE COLLISION
Heyden, Ont.,

Sault Ste Marie OPP investigated a property damage collision yesterday involving a snow machine and a mini van.

At about 10:00 a.m. yesterday a snow machine was being operated by a fourteen-year-old boy at the intersection of Birchgrove Road and Maki Lake Road in Heyden. The boy failed to yield for a yield sign at that intersection and ran into a mini van traveling on Maki Lake Rd.

There were no injuries in the collision and damage to the mini van was slight. Charges are expected to be laid against the young operator of the snow machine under the Motorized Snow Vehicle Act.
