SCHOOL BUS GOES INTO DITCH

Goulias River, Ont.,

Yesterday afternoon Sault Ste Marie OPP investigated a school bus that went into the ditch.

At about 2:30 yesterday afternoon the bus was traveling east on Hwy 552 when the front wheel caught the snow covered shoulder of the roadway. The driver was unable to get the bus back onto solid ground and the bus slid into the ditch.

There were eight students on the bus and none of the children, or the driver, suffered any injuries.

The was no damage to the bus but a tow truck was required to get the bus back on the roadway. There were no charges laid in this incident.
