JUST MORE OF THE ROUTINE STUFF

Sault Ste Marie, Ont.,

Over the past 24 hours members of the Sault Ste Marie OPP responded to several complaints of a routine nature.

Yesterday afternoon officers were dispatched to Government Road at Bar River Road in Echo Bay after receiving a report of an ATV driving in a dangerous matter. Another call was received from the Rupert Acres Park of two people on snow machines driving too fast in the park and with no helmets on. On both occasions the offenders had made good their escape prior to the police arriving in the area.

At about 3:15 p.m. yesterday afternoon one vehicle went into the ditch on Hwy 17 in the Goulais River area. There was no damage to the vehicle and after paying for a tow truck to attend the scene, the vehicle was able to be driven away.
