On December 8th at approximately 1:30pm a 1997 GMC Yukon SUV, green in colour was traveling north in the outside lane on Black Road and was side swiped by a 1993 Ford pick up, maroon in colour that was also traveling north but in the inside lane. The pick up truck traveled into the lane of the Yukon and collided with it. The Drivers side of the Yukon was struck but the passenger side of the pick up. The accident occurred in front Cash Way Store.

Traffic Stop reveals Drugs

(Blind River, ON.) – A vehicle that pulled into traffic without looking drew the attention of an officer on patrol that discovered suspected drugs in the car.

Just before 10:00 p.m. on Sunday 07 Dec.08 an officer on patrol noticed a car that pulled onto the highway without giving head to the cars using the roadway. A traffic stop was made and thorough some investigation the officer seized, from a passenger, a small quantity of suspected Marihuana and some paraphernalia associated with its use.

Charged with Possession of a controlled substance is:
24-year-old, Logan PRIMEAU of Ottawa, Ontario.

Primeau was released and is to appear in court in Blind River on 08 January.
