Vehicle hit a bear

(Laird Twp, ON) - On Wednesday, August 08, 2012 at approximately 0630 am Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident the Echo Bay area, between Pumpkin Point and Reids Rd.

Report that vehicle hit a bear, no injuries and minor damage to the vehicle.

Officers report that the bear ran into the side of the vehicle and died as a result of its injuries.
