Emergency services converged on a three-vehicle collision Sunday on Highway 556 between Heyden and Searchmont.

"Sault paramedics, OPP, and Aweres Fire Rescue all responded to the incident," said a spokesperson from Aweres Fire and Rescue.

In a post to social media at 9:30 a.m., Aweres Fire and Rescue said it was responding to an incident on Highway 556 at Cameron Road.

"Please avoid the area to allow our crews room to work," said the post on Facebook.

The highway was closed briefly for cleanup and there were no serious injuries, said the spokesperson.

Cameron Road connects to properties on Lower Island Lake.
