MALE ARRESTED FOR VIOLATING CURFEW (Blind River, ON.) – On July 14, 2010 at 3:40 a.m. officers from the East Algoma OPP detachment were called to a business on Causley St in Blind River for a male who was bothering patrons.
MALE ARRESTED FOR VIOLATING CURFEW

(Blind River, ON.) – On July 14, 2010 at 3:40 a.m. officers from the East Algoma OPP detachment were called to a business on Causley St in Blind River for a male who was bothering patrons. When police arrived they observed an intoxicated shirtless male standing outside the business. Upon recognizing the male a check revealed he was breaching certain release conditions from previous incidents. He was arrested and brought to the Blind River OPP detachment. Charged is 19 year old Robert Raymond SCHELLEKENS of Blind River. SHELLEKENS is charged with two (2) counts of breaching a recognizance contrary to section 145(3) of the Criminal Code and one (1) count of being intoxicated in a public place contrary to section 3194) of the Liquor Licence Act.

SCHELLEKENS was transported to Sault Ste Marie for a bail hearing. He was held in custody and is scheduled to appear in Blind River court on 12 August 2010.
