CHARGES LAID AND PROPERTY RECOVERED FROM BREAK & ENTERS

Members of the Sault Ste Marie OPP Crime Unit and the OPP Northeast Region Rural and Agricultural Crime team have recovered stolen property and laid several charges from break and enters in the Goulais River area.

Over the past several weeks the joint investigation by detectives from the two units has resulted in thirty three charges being laid against several people. Detectives have also recovered stolen property from several of the break and enters.

One break in on Goulais Mission Road saw well over $10,000.00 in damage to the interior of the home as well as thousands of dollars in property stolen from that house. Another investigation saw a home on Mandy Lane in Goulais River entered on more than one occasion.

Detectives have recovered one ATV, stereo equipment, a compressor and numerous other house hold items. These charges are a
