Sault Ste Marie OPP are investigating a break and enter into a hair care business in Echo Bay.
The owner of the business arrived for work on Friday morning to find the front door of the business smashed and the interior ransacked. So far the owner reports a small amount of cash missing . Damage to the business was extensive.

CARRYING A CONCEALED WEAPON Batchawana First Nation, Ont.,
Last night at about 10:00 p.m. Sault Ste Marie OPP officers were called to a function at the Rankin Arena after arena staff reported several youths that appeared to be intoxicated.
Patrol officers located one 16-year-old female not far from the arena. It was obvious that the girl had been drinking heavily. She was arrested for this offence. During a search of the girl, officers found a large knife hidden in her clothing
This female young offender will face charges of Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public Peace, Breach of Probation and Breach of a Recognizance. She will be held in custody over the weekend and will appear in bail court, in Sault Ste Marie, on Monday afternoon
