A rescue operation is underway this afternoon at the hiking trail at Robertson Lake Cliffs.
The Sault Ste. Marie OPP says the popular trail is closed due to “an individual on the trail in need of assistance.”
“There is no threat to public safety, but police are asking individuals to avoid the area while officers assist individuals on the trail,” police say. “Sault Ste. Marie OPP will provide an update when the trail reopens.”
