On Monday, May 15, 2017 at approximately 2:25 p.m. members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Superior East Wawa Detachment responded to a Dubreuilville, Ont. location regarding found explosives. The items in question were located north on the Simpson Road approximately 1 kilometre from the town of Dubreuilville, Ont.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the found items had been taken from a local mine property. Investigation is continuing at this time. Anyone with any information is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers.
