(SAULT STE. MARIE, ON) - The Sault Ste. Marie Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) will be on the lookout throughout the summer months for children who are playing safely and are obeying all safety rules.  Whether children are bicycling, skateboarding, rollerblading or any other activity where children are doing the right thing. Officers patrolling the area may stop and present a coupon to a child.

The coupon will be redeemable at Lock City Dairies "Holy Cow's Ice Cream Parlor" in Sault Ste. Marie, Timberland General Store on Highway 17, Big Arrow in Garden River First Nation or Noel's Place in Batchawana First Nation. The coupon will then be entered into a draw for a chance to win one of eight bicycles donated by Algoma Power Inc.

The OPP would like to thank all community partners who encourage the children to develop positive safety habits by wearing the proper protective equipment while enjoying outdoor activities.
