OPP is reminding the public to stay safe on roads, waterways and trail systems this Labour Day weekend.
In a press release issued today, the OPP stated that officers will be focusing on the 'Big Four', which include alcohol/drug impaired driving, distracted driving, speeding, and seatbelt safety, over the long weekend.
Police remind the public that these high-risk behaviours account for the majority of motor vehicle collision fatalities and are completely preventable.
Police also urge extra caution on the roads in the coming weeks as children return to school.
