DROWNING
The Temagami Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police is investigating a drowning incident which took place on Friday, September 3 on Cross Lake which is located in the Temagami Detachment area.
A 24-year-old Sundridge male was camping on Cross Lake near Temagami when he was reported missing.
The Ontario Provincial Police utilized their Marine Units, Helicopter and Underwater Search and Recovery in an effort to locate him.
Yesterday at approximately 5:00pm the body was located.
Foul play is not suspected and the investigation is on going.
The identity of the male has not been released pending next of kin notification.
