Pharmacy victim of armed robbery
ELLIOT LAKE, ON - East Algoma OPP responded to a call at the Elliot Lake Healthcare Pharmachoice in Elliot Lake.
On scene police were advised that a suspect entered the pharmacy with a weapon and demanded prescription narcotics.
The suspect then fled the scene.
Police are requesting the assistance of the public from anyone who may have attended the area of the Hillside Plaza between the hours of 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. or may have been driving around the Hillside, Ottawa, Paris and Axmith area to call police or Crime Stoppers.
Anyone with information regarding the above armed robbery is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
