THREATENING PHONE CALLS
Echo Bay, Ont.,

Sault Ste Marie O.P.P. are investigating a series of threatening and harassing phone calls being made to a woman in the Echo Bay area. Police were advised that the complainant received a large number of calls from a male person over the weekend.

The assistance of Bell Canada has been sought to help identify the phone number of the caller. It is a criminal offence to make threatening and/or harassing phone calls to anyone. Bell Canada also has the option of refusing to provide telephone service to anyone who repeatedly makes harassing telephone calls.


BREAK AND ENTER
Red Rock, Ont.,

O.P.P. were called to Pebble Beach Rd in the Red Rock area for a break and enter.
A home on Pebble Beach Rd. was forcibly entered sometime between Friday night and Saturday morning. The culprits did damage some of the interior prior to leaving the house. So far the victim is reporting that a quantity of alcohol was stolen.
